An international standard, which is brought out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). A generic Quality Management System Standard (QMS). It contains the stipulations on best practices in Quality Management.SFS got the the certification - ISO 9001 : 2000 during Sep, 2006 and is in the process of recertification as per ISO 9001 : 2008 new standard.The certifying body of SFS Homes is Buereau Veritas India (P) Ltd.

Green homes can have tremendous benefits, both tangible and intangible. The most tangible benefits are the reduction in water and energy consumption right from day one of occupancy. The energy savings could range from 20 – 30 % and water savings around 30 – 50%. Intangible benefits of Green homes include enhanced air quality, excellent daylighting, health & wellbeing of the occupants, safety benefits and conservation of scarce national resources.
